Questions buyers ask

Articles
Are used line array speakers worth buying?

Yes, when the cabinets come from documented install or rental inventory and the drivers are original. The savings are real, but only if you verify serial numbers and service history before paying.

How much should I pay for a used line array cabinet?

For current models with good parts support, 45–60% of new street price is a reasonable starting point. Add freight, duty and any amplifier or processing costs before comparing offers.

Can I mix used line array cabinets from different batches?

You can, but matched batches are strongly preferred. Mixed batches can have different driver revisions, which affects tonal consistency across the array.

How do I know if a used subwoofer has been re-coned?

Compare cone markings, spider colour and solder joints with reference photos for the exact model, and ask for driver part numbers. Non-original kits often look close but differ in small details.

Is a used subwoofer with cosmetic damage still worth buying?

Usually yes if the cabinet is structurally sound and the drivers test clean. Cosmetic damage affects resale value, not necessarily performance, but cracks near the mounting points should be treated seriously.
